TENSORS
DESIGNED
FOR DURABILITY
Patterson’s patented Tensors are the best answer when you’re looking for an industrial tool to secure loads on ships or rail cars. They make your work easier, faster, and safer in any application that requires tensioning or pulling. They’re useful for mining, and the Coast Guard uses them too. We’ve even heard of our Tensors being used for guy-wire tensioning for portable radar antennas.

HOW
WE MAKE THEM
SAFER.
EASIER.
FASTER.
Long-Term Durability
All working parts within our Tensors are enclosed for long-term durability, and every model leaves our factory fully lubricated and ready to go. Patterson Tensors are available in a wide variety of models, so no matter what chain size or load capacity you need, you’ll find something that works for you.
Uniquely Engineered
Our innovative design features a screw-type action with eccentric loading. While turning the drive head, the large outer barrel telescopes over the inner barrel and pulls the anchoring points together. It’s ingenious, and it makes your job easier.
Built for Speed
Our tensors are also built for speed. Unlike turnbuckles, our tensors work with an impact wrench. There really isn’t anything faster.
